The Z-Span 4000
Rapid Pulp Testing System generates a set of strength numbers
within 25 minutes.
-
The pulp or
stock sample is first prepared at the Z-Span 4000 workstation.
The prepared slurry is poured into the Automated Sheet
Former’s slurry reservoir. In ten minutes the sheets are ready
to be weighed and loaded onto the Z-Span Tester’s feed tray.
-
The operator
initiates a test by pushing the run button. At the end of the
test, the operator checks the data and initiates the transfer
